Rental Agreements

Long-Term Customers

Customers renting a berth for three months or longer are regarded as long-term.

On arrival all long-term customers are required to sign a Marina Berth and Trailer Park Rental Licence Application and to pay a Licence Processing fee of $90 plus a minimum payment covering one months rental.

Rental payments are due by the 1st of the month following invoice.  Payment may be made by monthly automatic payment, direct debit, cash, credit card or online. 

Long-term customers are required to give 30 days' written notice prior to departure.

Living on board your vessel is by arrangement with marina management only, and special conditions apply.  Please refer to the Live aboard section for further information.

Casual Customers

Visiting boats are welcome at Seaview Marina with prior arrangement with the marina office.  Customers renting a berth for less than three months are regarded as casual.

Casual customers are required to pay the equivalent of one month’s rental on arrival.  Thereafter rental is paid monthly in advance and on final departure.

Living aboard your vessel is by arrangement with marina management only and special conditions apply.

 

Electrical Connection Requirements

• All marina piers have 240 Volt 10 and 16 amp power modules.
• All users of power from Seaview Marina must hold a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness.  This certification can be obtained from a registered Electrical Inspector and is valid for four years.
• All power leads must be inspected and tagged annually.

 

Vessel Insurance

All vessels are required to have insurance cover at all times with a minimum of NZ $5 million in third party cover.  You will be asked to provide details of your insurance policy prior to your arrival.
